Tevaga to play in All-Star game
For Compton, Calif., lineman Sonny Tevaga, the best way to get prepared to play college football this fall is to actually get out and participate in a competitive game. That is the UCLA-bound Tevaga's plan as he is currently practicing for and prepping to play offensive guard in the 605 High School All-Star Classic this Saturday, June 3.
The opportunity to play in the All-Star game has given Tevaga the confidence and extra motivation needed this offseason to make sure he comes into his first season of college football as prepared as he can be.
"I'm just trying to get in there, start at the bottom on my way up to the top, get as many reps as I can and get used to college football," said Tevaga. "I'm playing in an all-star game right now just getting ready for camp."
