Wichita Trio highlight second day in Norman
In Oklahoma recruiting, the phrase 'south of Oklahoma' comes up a lot, but over the next few years there will be plenty of Sooner fans talking about what is happening just to the North in Wichita, Kan. That's because the state's southern-most major city has a trio of prospects that had people talking on Saturday, and on Sunday continue to show why they figure to be highly recruited prospects in the next few years.
Leading the trio was 2008 prospect Arthur Brown, a lean 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker that may have been the most physically impressive in attendance. A compliment indeed considering the large number of players on campus who will be filling division one rosters in the not so distant future.
Brown was held out of drills for the second half of the afternoon practice after feeling a little sick through the first half. Not to worry though Brown expects to close camp strong on Monday and has the look of a player that recruiting fans nationwide should familiarize themselves with.
