Davis moving up the lists
James Davis turned heads at every combine he attended this past spring. The 5-foot-9, 181-pounder from Monrovia, Calif., has the speed to break a long run and the strength to churn out yards between the tackles. He is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield.
"I guess you could say I'm a complete back," Davis explained. "I'm a hard worker. I see the field really well and I understand the game."
Colorado, Colorado State and Washington State have all extended scholarship offers. Davis has also drawn looks from Boston College, Washington, Arizona State, Rutgers, Georgia Tech and Kansas State.
Cal was originally his favorite, but the Golden Bears have not shown much interest. "Cal is not my favorite anymore," Davis said.
