Football signee selected in 2nd round of MLB draft

Warchant.com You can't blame Brent Brewer if he decides to follow in the footsteps of Chris Weinke and Joe Mauer. The Seminole football signee was all ready to suit up for the Garnet and Gold this season but that is looking less likely after what happened on Tuesday. The Milwaukee Brewers decided to draft the Tyrone, Georgia two-sport star in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the Major League Baseball Draft.
Now, Brewer has a big decision to make. Does he pass up on college, or does he put baseball on the back burner and head to Tallahassee to play college football?
"It's a big decision," said Brewer, "I was real excited. I thought I was going in the third round. I was shocked, just happy. I'll wait and talk with my family."
