Auburn picked up its fifth commitment Tuesday when Belle Glade, Fla., Glades Central athlete Johnnie Lee Dixon gave his pledge to sign with the Tigers in February.

Dixon, a 5-foot-11, 176-pound hard-hitting defensive back, picked Auburn over offers from Florida, Georgia and Oregon among others.

"We sat down and talked yesterday and felt like this was the best decision for him," said Glades Central assistant coach Stephen Fields. "He really liked the coaching staff. He has a lot of respect for coach Gran. He liked the small town environment because he's from a small town.
