Frahm follows his heart
His recruitment was just starting to really ramp up, but when Kevin Frahm really thought about it, he already knew where he wanted to play his college football. So with no reason for him to string things out any longer, the strong 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive end from Central Catholic High School in Portland made a trip down to visit his future head coach to tell him of his decision in person.
"I committed to Oregon State on Friday," Frahm said. "I think it was one of the toughest decisions of my life, but I think it was one of my best. I'd been talking to my parents about it the entire week, and Oregon State had always had a special place in my heart. I had always wanted to pull the trigger (on committing) ever since I got the offer, but talking to my parents before the evaluation period ended, we came to the agreement that we would do all the events and combines in May, and then at the beginning of June we'd evaluate our position."
