Eagles in pursuit of NC lineman
Though they haven't offered, Boston College is quickly becoming a player for Durham, N.C., Hillside center Quinn Barham. The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder likes a few things about the Eagles.
"I really like Boston College and wouldn't mind going up there," he said. "I'm interested in them because they put good linemen in the NFL and particularly centers which is what they want me to play. I think even the highest paid center in the NFL is from Boston College and I feel really good about them."
During the May evaluation period Barham received lots of calls, but the one from Boston College stood out.
"I got a whole lot of calls from East Carolina, Duke, Louisville, Colorado, North Carolina, Wake Forest and more," he said. "I really liked what Jim Bridge had to say. He was very cool and down to earth guy that told me he is looking for me to play center and then mentioned I'd be an asset to their program."
