Hubbard draws ire of OSU coches
While many players saw their stocks rise with the Ohio State coaches during their camp last week, at least one player saw his take a hit by the end of the camp.
This was the case for Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward's Kyle Hubbard, who missed the camp and apparently drew the ire of OSU cornerbacks coach Tim Beckman.
Hubbard was supposed to travel with Nate Oliver, but those plans did not work out. Hubbard is teammates with Oliver, the first athlete to join OSU's 2007 recruiting class. While Oliver plays defensive back, Hubbard plays on the other side of the ball at the wideout position.
But with his 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame, Hubbard is being looked at by the Buckeyes as a tight end.
While the Buckeyes have not offered him yet, Hubbard said he thinks that time might not be too far in the future.
As for his favorite schools, he said he plans on narrowing down the following list - which is in no particular order.
"Michigan, Kentucky, Pitt, Ohio State, Virginia, Miami of Florida," he said.
