Fifth commitment is a big one
The fifth commitment to Boston College is a big one, figuratively and literally. Rensselaer, N.Y. offensive tackle Kenny Plue, all 6-foot-7 and 352 pounds of him, committed to the Eagles after an offer following camp. He talks about his decision with us.
"I committed last night when they texted me and told me to call," said Plue, who camped for a day at Session I. "I was hoping for the offer because I thought I did well at camp. They liked that I was a hard worker and I was coming off an injury but still gave all I had."
Plue was recruited by Kevin Lempa for BC and also spoke to head coach Tom O'Brien, offensive line coach Don Horton and assistant head coach Jerry Petercuskie.
"I felt really comfortable with everyone," said Plue. "And the players were great. I hung out a bit with Josh Beekman, Ty Hall and Justin Tougas. They were all good guys."
