Foothill College's Joseph Townsend's last name should sound familiar to most Nebraska Husker fans. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound junior college defensive tackle is the younger brother of former Cornhusker defensive tackle Larry Townsend, who was a letter winner in 1994-95 for the University of Nebraska. Joseph might be following in the footsteps of his older brother and becoming a member of the Nebraska football squad next season.

Joseph Townsend has confirmed to HuskersIllustrated.com that he has full-ride scholarship offers so far from Washington State and Nebraska. He has a firm official visit date set for the Kansas home game on Sept. 30.
