Like many top football players across the country,Eaglecrest, Colo., lineman Charles Hayes spent the early part of his
summer attending football camps. And when looking back at his experiences,
this senior enjoyed camping at three schools.

"This year I went to Nebraska, CU, and CSU. They were very fun and I
learned from all of the coaches." Added Hayes, "It was a good experience
at the camps."

Hayes got a better feel for where he stood with Cornhuskers but was unsure
about Colorado.

"Nebraska said I am on the top of their list but they have offered two
people. I have to wait and see what they say. I don't really know
where I am for CU. They weren't sure if I could play defense."
