In-state cornerback confident, not cocky
Mobile, Ala., B.C. Rain cornerback Ryan Williams isn't cocky. He's just confident. And he doesn't want anyone to mistake one for the other.
The 5-foot-11, 182-pounder is always looking for the best wide receiver to go up against in 1-on-1s. At the Mountain Brook Combine earlier this spring, he looked up and down the receiver group searching for the best. When he found them, he called them out, and more times than not, shut them down.
That's what he does. To be the best, you have to beat the best.
"I'm just confident because I don't feel like anybody can stop me. I feel like I'm the best cornerback in the South," said Williams. "I'm not scared of anybody. I'll go up against anybody that lines up against me. If anybody wants to go up against me, give me their name and I'll call them out myself."
