BIG recruiting news for Tigers after mini-camp
Auburn's final camp of the summer Saturday was expected to have one of the biggest and best collections of talent in the South. And needless to say, the Tigers' mini-camp didn't disappoint.
Twelve of the top 250 players in the country and 13 four-star recruits overall were among a group of nearly 500 prospects on the Plains. Included in the large group were four Rivals100 players.
Headlining the attendees at Auburn was five-star defensive back Eric Berry of Fairburn, Ga., Creekside High. The 5-foot-11, 194-pounder, who is rated the No. 1 cornerback in the nation by Rivals.com, didn't participate in the camp but instead toured the campus and met with recruiting coach Terry Price, defensive coordinator Will Muschamp and head coach Tommy Tuberville.
