Gators are Interested
The phrase, All is fair in love and war, should be altered somewhat to include the recruiting process as well. The University of Florida has seen several programs make a run at its committed prospects. For example, this past weekend Auburn played host to Sidell Corley. Turnabout is fair play, as the Gators are making an effort to lure one of the Tigers commitments as well.
At the beginning of April, Pensacola, Fla., Catholic offensive lineman Kyle Coulahan committed to Auburn, not long after Florida came calling.
"Coach (Chuck) Heater was here in the spring and offered me," said Coulahan. "Since I've committed, the University of Florida and Maryland have stepped it up I believe. I have a full scholarship offer from both of them."
The Gators, in particular, have seemingly made him a priority.
