Hokies are in Latif's top six
Midlothian, Va., Manchester offensive guard Khalil Latif has reportedly announced his list of six favorites. The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder has the Hokies in the mix despite not visiting the school yet.
"He has told me he that Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee, Ohio State and North Carolina are leading although that is in no particular order," Manchester head coach Tom Hall said. "I think the conferences have a big thing to do with it. All these schools are in three of the best conferences in the country in the Big Ten, ACC and SEC. I know we are planning to go to games at Ohio State and Tennessee this fall."
Where do the Hokies stand for Latif?
"I think Virginia Tech is one of his top schools," he said. "He has never been up there, but we're planning to go in the next couple weeks before the end of summer. Of course that is where I played, but I'm not going to steer him in that direction. I just feel he needs to see his top choices"
