Lakewood, Ohio, St. Edward High School WR/TE Kyle Hubbard spoke with Cane coaches recently.

"They were talking about what type of offense they run and things like that," Hubbard said. "They want me as more of a tight end like a Kellen Winslow type."

Hubbard is waiting on a UM offer.

"They said they're going to get back with me about it," he said. "They send me a lot of little notes, say to play hard and things like that."

So far he lists seven offers: Pittsburgh, Kentucky and several MAC schools.

Hubbard had planned to attend Miami's summer camp, but his father's schedule prevented him from coming at the last minute.
