Offensive lineman Joe Thomas was one of Pitt's marquee recruits of the class of 2006. Thomas already figures to be in the mix this fall as a freshman.

The Panthers now turn their focus to his high school teammate, tight end Kyle Hubbard. A two-sport standout in football and basketball, Hubbard lists five schools that are recruiting him heavily as his favorites.

Hubbard has offers from Bowling Green, Kentucky and Pitt. He is also looking at Ohio State, Michigan and Virginia.
