The Maryland Terrapins have had some struggles when it comes to in state players recently, but 2008 is already off to a great start. Forestville, Md. wide receiver Kevin Dorsey, formerly known as Kevin Chapman, has committed to the Terps.

"He committed a little while ago but I wanted him to wait and make sure he was 100-percent committed," said Forestville head coach Charles Harley, who ran into a tough situation with former player Antonio Logan-El last year. "After Antonio, I told my guys that no one is committing early unless they are 100-percent sure. Kevin is different from Antonio, he's much more mature already. He showed up to meet coach Friedgen in a suit, that's not common."
