Growth spurt changes everything for Leuer

Peegs.com It is hard to fly under the radar when you are 6-foot-10 but not many have yet heard of senior-to-be Jon Leuer from Orono High School in Orono, Minnesota. That is because the skilled prospect hasn't been 6-foot-10 that long.
A big man with the ability to shoot and put the ball on the floor is a rare commodity. That is why coaches like Bo Ryan, Mike Brey, Dan Monson, Steve Alford and Rick Pitino have been watching him closely this week in Las Vegas. Assistants from Indiana have watched the growing big man here as well.
Given that it is not surprising that he has several high major scholarship offers already in hand.
Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville and West Virginia have all made offers. Minnesota is also interested, but does not have a scholarship available.
