Tide still alive for Rivals250 athlete
Rivals 250 athlete Harrison Smith is in no rush when it comes to choosing a school.
The Knoxville native is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 20 overall athlete in the nation but has yet to come any closer to making a decision as the summer comes to a close.
"I haven't really cut my list down yet. I definitely like Alabama and I'm interested. Coach [Sparky] Woods will text me every now and then."
"When I'm deciding where to take my official visits, I'll narrow to five. I don't think I will commit before my season is over unless I just walked into a school and knew for sure."
The 6-foot-2, 200 pounder, who projects as a safety at the college level, said the Tide will likely be a recipient of one of those five officials, putting Alabama in his list of schools that should make the cut.
"I'm pretty much done with my unofficial visits. I've been down to Tuscaloosa a couple times for unofficial visits. I was at the LSU game last year. I'll probably take an official there this fall."
