Will it be Auburn or Arkansas for four-star QB?
Fort Smith, Ark., Northside quarterback Kodi Burns thought he would be ready to make a commitment by now. The four-star prospect narrowed his choices down to Auburn and Arkansas, took unofficial visits to both, and thought that would be all he needed.
Burns, who is rated the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback in the country by Rivals.com, still needs two things: A little more time, and a little more information.
"It's so hard. One day it's Auburn. One day it's Arkansas," said the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Burns. "I was pretty sure that I would do it before the season, but there are a lot of factors in this decision and I want to make sure that I make the right one. I know though, that I can't go wrong with either one."
With the Tigers and Razorbacks jockeying back-and-forth at the top of his leaderboard, Burns said he now plans to take at least one more look at each school. This time, in the way of an official visit.
"I'm thinking about taking official visits to each school. I'll probably take one to Auburn and one to Arkansas and that will hopefully help make the decision easier," he said. "I've seen the facilities and the campuses, and now I want to get the feel of the gameday atmosphere.
