Block hearing from the Pac-10
Bellevue safety Eric Block still has just an offer from the Cougs, however, he is getting lots of recruiting interest at this point.
Not surprisingly the Cougs are Block's top school, and he has also been hearing from UW, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Cal and Notre Dame. After taking a trip over Spring Break to visit most of the Pac-10 schools he is interested in (including the Cougs), he did not hit the college camp circuit.
The biggest camp he went to was his team's annual trek to Fort Worden on the Olympic Peninsula, which Block said "went very well. We had a great camp."
Block has, however, been a leader as far as getting teammates into the weight room and getting them prepared for the upcoming season, which for the first time in three years does not include a high-profile out-of-state opponent. The past two seasons saw the Wolverines take on California powers Long Beach Poly and De La Salle, defeating them both.
