Crawford still wide open
While slots are quickly running out on the Bulldog commitment list, there is always room to add another running back, typically one of the best athletes on a high school team. Memphis, Tenn., Ridgeway's Aaron Crawford is one of the players on the list, but with practice beginning yesterday, he has begun to focus on the upcoming season. Where do things stand in his recruitment?
"I didn't get a chance to go to any camps this year," he said. "My mom is on call a lot, so I don't get a chance to go on any trips.
"I am taking big interest in Mississippi State and Kentucky (his two offers). Them two, no question.
"I am taking big interest in LSU and Tennessee. I know a guy that coaches at LSU that played with my father back in the nineties at the University of Memphis and that is a big plus for them (Terry Porter). I talked to Phil Fulmer too and he was recruiting my father a long time ago."
