East Valley (Cali.) defensive end Andre Ferguson is a player that a number of
college programs hope to land. And because of his skills on the field,
Colorado State has offered this senior.

"Apparently all the colleges are telling my coach before they tell me.
I came to school one day and my coach said that you have been offered by
Colorado State. First I was like, are you joking? And then I was pretty
excited about it."

Ferguson, who also holds offers from a variety of schools, hopes to make a
trip to Fort Collins to learn more about the Rams.

"One of the coaches called me to see if I could do a visit for one of their
camps. But my dad said we didn't have our schedule open that day they
wanted. I am still talking to them and going back and fourth to try and
get a visit date down."

Out of the schools recruiting him, Ferguson mentioned that he has two
favorites.

"One of them is San Diego State, which we were able to visit on July 14th.
And the next one is Arizona State University. I am still talking to their
head coach and will try and make a visit down there this week or next week."
