Yandell talks Michigan trip
One of the fastest-rising prospects in this year's class, Saint Augustine (Fla.) Nease offensive tackle Clyde Yandell recently returned from an unofficial visit to the Big Ten power he grew up pulling for.
The 6-foot-5, 304-pounder made an unofficial visit to the University of Michigan while he was on a family trip to that state last week.
"It was on our off week," Yandell said. "We started school this past Friday, so the last week in July was our off week. My family and I were up there visiting relatives. We did go by the University of Michigan while we were up there."
This wasn't Yandell's first trip to the Ann Arbor campus, but it was the first time he got to get an in-depth look at it and the Michigan program.
"I had gone in the summer for camp for one day," he said. "But I hadn't had the chance to see the campus and talk to the coaches and see everything. I got a better tour of the campus this time."
The Wolverines have not yet offered Yandell a scholarship.
"They want to see some senior film," he said.
