Rawlinson, did he or didn't he make it?
Over the past few weeks, Florida State signee Tim Rawlinson had been hoping and praying that his test scores would allow him to enroll at Florida State. But unfortunately, it now looks like Rawlinson fell a little short on his test scores and will have to attend junior college.
"It's bad news," said Prattville Head Coach Bill Clark, "he never did pass that last part. He was one or two points shy on one of them. It's a sad thing. He did everything else. It doesn't look like it's gonna work out right now."
Florida State was hoping to have the final piece of the 2006 recruiting class in place, but they'll have to wait another two years for the former three-star linebacker to suit up for the Garnet and Gold.
"He will end up at JC," said Clark. "He's had some conversations with Pearl River (CC). They'll try to get him over there. I think he's pretty disappointed. I think he felt like he cleared the other hurdles. It was just one part of the exam."
