Three-star safety Barnes lists eight

InsidetheGators.com Looking over the offer list of Tallahassee, Fla., Lincoln safety Deshaun Barnes, there seems to be somewhat of a disconnect. He has one of the more impressive offer lists of any prospect in the Sunshine State, but he is only rated a three-star, the No. 53 ranked player in the state.
Though he may be lagging behind a bit in the rankings, Barnes is further along than many of his contemporaries when it comes to the recruiting process. He has compiled a list of his top eight choices and has actually already scheduled three of his five official visits, and has his sights set on where the last two will go.
"The three visits I already had set (Tennessee, LSU and Florida State) are still solid and the last two will probably be Auburn and UCLA. Florida, Miami and Clemson are the other three I'm considering," said the 6-foot-2, 195-pounder.
