Load at linebacker
Arkansas' linebacker corps is loaded with speed, talent and varying levels of experience, but it will be a fun bunch to watch as long as health concerns do not become a major issue this season.
Arkansas is already in a little trouble in the injury department, but coaches are optimistic. It is likely true freshman Chip Gregory will be out for an extended period. He has a dislocated shoulder that has given him fits since the first week of fall camp. With the time he has missed, and the fact that he is only a true freshman, defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Reggie Herring says he does not figure into the plans at all, right now. Junior middle linebacker Weston Dacus has a high ankle sprain, but he will play a major role.
