Defensive end Antoine Hopkins is one of the top players in the Commonwealth for the 2008 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder out of Highland Springs, Va. is beginning to receive interest from schools, but one school that has been absent to this point is Virginia Tech.

"I'm getting a lot of letters from Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Boston College, Tennessee, Notre Dame and others," he said. "I surprisingly haven't heard from Virginia Tech or Virginia yet, but I didn't go to any camps this past summer so that could be why."
