Notre Dame and Tennessee are locked in a head-to-head battle to land five-star athlete Chris Donald, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker from Huntingdon, Tenn. Donald spent Saturday watching both teams open the season with wins.

"It was exciting to watch everybody," Donald said. "It was a great start off to the season for everybody. I watched Tennessee and Notre Dame. I was impressed with Tennessee and I was watching how their linebackers played and from what I could see, I think it's going to be a good season for them.
