Moments ago Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake dual threat quarterback Cameron Newton sat down at a table at his high school and made the announcement Gator fans have been waiting for; the 6-foot-4, 232-pound, four-star prospect announced his decision to attend the University of Florida.

A few months ago, Newton was actually flying under the radar somewhat. He was considered to be a 3-star prospect with a big upside, but a little raw.
