Out of the gate for '08
Kansas State coach Ron Prince has made early recruiting a priority. The Wildcats already have 21 commitments for the class of 2007, something that was unheard of during Bill Snyder's tenure. And the Wildcats have gotten a head start on the class of 2008 with an early pledge from a promising junior prospect in Wichita.
Wichita (Kan.) Bishop Carroll offensive tackle Brayden Burris committed to the Wildcats on Sunday night after earning an early offer from the K-State coaches.
Burris took about 24 hours to think about the offer and it didn't take him to long to jump on it.
