WR Freeman eager to visit Iowa State
Junior college wide receiver Larry Freeman was a top target for Iowa State three years ago and is once again for 2007. The Florida native at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., is looking forward to making a visit to ISU, something he didn't do as an '04 prospect out of high school.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Freeman was a non-qualifier out of Fort Meade (Fla.), where he played quarterback and defensive back and was recruited and offered by many schools, including Iowa State, as an athlete. He received offers from LSU, Michigan State, Louisville and others the first time around.
This time around, Freeman has received offers from three solid programs in the SEC in Tennessee, South Carolina and Arkansas. Iowa State has offered and so too has Ole Miss, UCF and USF.
