Denver (Colo.) Montbello head coach Oliver Lucas left Colorado for bluer pastures in Kentucky this past winter and that caused some confusion in the recruitment of four-star wide receiver Drew Davis. Now, the 6-0, 195-pound Davis, is going through another coaching change, this one mid-season, while his recruitment is also experiencing dramatic evolution.

New developments have also come about with Davis recruitment. Over the summer, he was looking at, and very high on, Colorado and Washington, among others. Recently, however, he has picked up offers from Michigan, Cal and UCLA. The one from Michigan is apparently not a new offer, but involves a mix up due to coaching changes on both ends.
