Crenshaw defensive tackle Brian Price verbally committed to UCLA in March, and while that commitment remains solid, the recruiting process continues.

With a personal invitation from Pete Carroll in hand, Brian and his father Frank attended USC's home-opener with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. With the help of a sellout crowd, USC made their greatest recruiting pitch of the year.

However, it's a pitch that wouldn't have been received if it wasn't for a chance encounter just weeks earlier on the campus of Creshaw High School.
