Last winter Notre Dame spent plenty of time in Klein, Texas recruiting offensive lineman Chris Stewart. Those efforts paid off as Stewart eventually signed with the Irish. The time spent in Texas also helped Notre Dame get an early look at another Klein offensive lineman, J.B. Shugarts.

Only a junior, the 6-foot-7, 296-pounder already has racked up several scholarship offers.

Those offers include Ohio State, Florida, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Mississippi, Miami, LSU, Duke, Baylor, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Michigan.
