Tennessee is probably looking like a more attractive option these days to some offensive skill players, and one who is paying close attention is Memphis wide receiver prospect Roderick Davis from Woodale high school. An athletic target with stellar speed, Davis has seen himself become an increasingly hot commodity.

Davis (6-foot-0, 190 pounds, 4.4 40-yard dash) has been on Tennessee's radar since last spring, and now that football season in full swing, the Vols are part of a crowded field. But it's a crowded field that Davis has already narrowed down to what he calls a fairly firm top-five.
