It is good to be a Cedar Hill Longhorn. They are 5-0 overall and coming off a double overtime win versus rival DeSoto making them 2-0 in district play.

The Horns had some turnover issues early on, but offensive tackle John Jones and his teammates never thought the game was out of reach.

For Jones, a three-star Texas Top 100 prospect and Baylor committment, the game was a chance to go up against one of the areas top prospects in DeSoto defensive end Von Miller, a four-star National Top 250 prospect.
