NU Notes: Harley Davidson's invade Hawks Center
When you go 11 straight weeks without an open date it becomes challenging to keep your team loose over that stretch.
On Thursday, Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan loosen up the mood of practice by having around 50 Harley Davidson motorcycles drive into the Hawks Championship Indoor Facility during warm-ups.
Callahan had the motorcycles do one lap around the Hawks Center and the bikers revved up their engines to get the Huskers ready for what they'll see during warm-ups on Saturday at Kansas State.
This Saturday will be Harley Day at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, so Callahan thought it would only be fitting to get his team ready for what they'll see.
"They rode around just like the warm-up down there," Callahan said. "The wanted to get the team acclimated to the atmosphere.
