Virginia Tech is already in good position for 2008 linebacker Stephen Meadows. The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder out of Fredericksburg, Va., James Monroe is getting looks from a variety of schools including the Hokies.

"We're trying to get film out on him now," James Monroe head coach Richard Serbay said. "He's getting a lot of mail from Boston College, Virginia, Maryland, East Carolina and Virginia Tech.
