Charlotte (N.C.) Independence three-star wide receiver Jason Barnes has helped lead his team to an unblemished record so far this season and is enjoying his time as the primary receiver in the Independence offense. On the recruiting front, it's still a two team race.

The 6-foot-3.5, 197-pound Barnes said it's between North Carolina and South Carolina.

Barnes isn't ready to set a timeframe for a decision.
