Good news comes out of Sumter, S.C. today too as the Hokies officially picked up a commitment from athlete Kendrick Pressley. The 5-foot-11, 168-pounder actually gave his pledge to Frank Beamer and company at the beginning of September.

"He made a verbal commitment and is committed to Virginia Tech," Sumter head coach Paul Sorrells said. "I think he did it right around the first of the football season and that's the best he's gotten.
