Virginia Tech hasn't offered four-star linebacker Larry Asante out of Coffeyville, Kan., Coffeyville Community College. If the 6-foot-1, 225-pounder has his way though, the Hokies will come through with an offer by early December.

"So far I've got offers from Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and Virginia," he said. "Arkansas and Virginia have said that if I come out for a visit I'll get the offer. I am looking at making trips to at least one of them."
