In the face of nasty winds, and near-freezing temperatures the Sooners put on a hope-inducing 24-3 victory over hapless Colorado. The Sooners weren't always pretty or overly elaborate realizing that the elements were more than they wanted to deal with. However, plenty of players stepped to the forefront this week.

Analysis: Statistically he wasn't even the Sooners best linebacker, but Latimer made a lot of the big plays that his partner in crime is so well known for. His circus catch interception in traffic helped the Sooners contain the momentum that they had picked up by the second quarter and helped keep Mason Crosby from turning it into a one score game. However most notable of his plays was tracking down well known speedster Hugh Charles before he could hit the corner.
