Smith set on two visits

USCFootball.com Woodland Hills, Calif., Taft athlete Malcolm Smith is healthy for the first time since injuring his ankle in a season-opening loss to Crenshaw in September.
In that game, Smith carried Taft's offense to 7-0 lead on the game's opening drive. This week against Chatsworth, Smith finally got healthy and got back on track as being Taft's focal point on offense.
It was a game that wasn't supposed to be close. Chatsworth, who stood 4-1 on the season, came into the West Valley League opener averaging 37-points a game. The Toreadors, coming off of a two-game losing streak, were 2-4.
