Ohio OL makes his Buckeye push

BuckeyeGrove.com Painesville (Ohio) Harvey lineman Jeff Spikes missed his entire junior football season with a stress fracture in his left foot. Surgery was required with a screw inserted.
However the 6-foot-5 and now 300-pound Spikes has fully recovered and has had a very good senior season playing tackle on both sides of the ball.
One school that definitely has Spikes attention is Ohio State. Spikes listed Pitt, Toledo, Akron, Bowling Green, Illinois, Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan as the other schools he is looking at. Culliver said Howard and Southern have extended scholarship offers.
