Wednesday practice report
Howard Jones Field looked like it was transplanted to the Pacific Northwest with cold temperatures and overcast skies during practice. It should serve as the perfect environment to prepare for the trip up to Corvallis. We talked to starting nickel back Mozique McCurtis about some of the big hits in practice and what we can expect from the Beavers.
The secondary is already banged up and McCurtis came off of the field favoring one leg.
"I just rolled my ankle on one play when Ryan Kalil blasted me," McCurtis said after practice. "I don't ever really get involved with the offensive linemen so I don't get to appreciate how good they are."
