The resignation of Iowa State head coach Dan McCarney yesterday has left some Cyclone commitments questioning their future, but not Des Moines (Iowa) Roosevelt linebacker Fabian Brown. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Brown said he based his original decision in a large part on the coaching staff, but with its exit imminent, Brown is not worrying.

Brown was looking to stay close to home when he made his decision after earning an offer with his performance at Iowa State's padded camp last summer.

Since he made that verbal commitment to Iowa State in late June, Brown has never looked back on his decision.
