Fresh of their three-game SEC winning streak and the excitement generated from a much-anticipated bowl trip, the Kentucky Wildcats picked up a big verbal commitment on Wednesday from an old familiar place.

Randall Burden, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound defensive back from LaGrange (Ga.) High School, will join friends and former teammates Demoreo Ford, Braxton Kelley and Wesley Woodyard in Lexington next season.

Burden picked the Wildcats over scholarship offers from Tulane, East Carolina, Central Florida and Alabama State. He was also drawing strong interest from Arkansas and Illinois, among others.
