Napier visits Saunders

Clemson ace recruiter Billy Napier, who thoroughly works the state of North Carolina along with defensive line coach Chris Rumph, traveled north to the Tar Heel state Friday night. He took in Weslye Saunders' playoff game.
"It was pretty nice to see him there," Saunders told Tigerillustrated.com Sunday evening. "He's a pretty cool guy and young so I can relate to him a lot. I wanted to show him what I could do."
And like almost always the 6-foot-5, 270-pound athlete from Durham (NC) Riverside didn't fail to impress. He caught two passes for 54 yards including a 44-yard touchdown grab and made seven tackles on defense.
The Pirates (9-4) knocked off Durham Jordan, champions of the PAC-Six conference, 21-17, in a 4-AA NCHSAA second round game.
